Nestled in the foothills of the Little Belt Mountains, in Central Montana, at the headwaters of the blue-ribbon Judith River, the Circle Bar Guest Ranch is one of only a few “great” places for a true cowboy vacation in Montana. We offer everything you could ask for in a Montana guest ranch vacation, we are one of only a few "great" western horseback riding vacations in Montana.

There are many terms to describe our ranch; dude ranch, vacation ranch, horseback riding ranch and so on but the one term that best describes our ranch is Guest Ranch. The people who visit us are our guests and we treat each and every one as such, catering to their every need. With a guest capacity that we like to limit to 25, the Circle Bar staff is anxious to give you a friendly, informal, but very comfortable Montana guest ranch vacation. Our guest ranch vacation will give you all the riding and recreation you can handle, but also the relaxation you should expect at any great guest ranch. You can choose any one of our 10 log cabins or a big room in our spacious lodge. Either way, you'll find comfort and all the modern amenities to make your time with us memorable.

When you’re not out riding horseback on a range of thousands of acres of unspoiled Montana majesty that surrounds the Circle Bar Guest Ranch, you can take a dip in the pool or the Judith River, throw some horseshoes or maybe try your luck on a Yogo Sapphire dig. You could find yourself pushing cattle on horseback one day and looking in on a local ranch branding the next. Always remember, horseback riding doesn't have to be nose-to-tail, we'd like you to spread out if you like to enjoy our wide open country. It's YOUR vacation and we mean to make it that way! Go at your own pace; choose what you want to do. Ride with us all day long or grab a good book from our extensive library, and lounge around the pool or your own front porch...it's up to you.
